2. White Rice vs. Brown Rice (35:20)
“In the first episode, Dana was describing her favorite dish and it was a Mexican bowl. She mentioned white rice being in it. I’ve been under the impression that we should be avoiding the white foods: white flour, white sugar, white rice, etc… I successfully made the switch from white rice to brown rice in my house without my husband even noticing. Please tell me that wasn’t for nothing! Is white rice really better than brown rice?”
3. Frozen Veggies (42:45)
“What is your take on frozen veggies? I have found frozen organic veggies at my local grocery store and it is helpful for busy nights during the work week. The only problem I have is finding something other than organic broccoli. Curious what you think of frozen veg for convenience.”
Kate mentions the Dirty Dozen list. There’s also the Clean Fifteen!
