Find some answers here :) If your question hasn't been answered, send it to me - I'm happy to answer!

01

Do we have to be located in the same town to work together?

Absolutely not! I love the flexibility and awesome opportunity the Internet provides us.  We can use any form of communication you feel the most comfortable using: face-to-face, phone, Skype, FaceTime, Google Hangout, Zoom, etc.  If you are interested in meeting at your home location or somewhere nearby, we can discuss options.  An additional fee may apply.

02

Do I have to take supplements?

Nope! Although supplements can help us reach our goals in a shorter period of time, everything can be done through food and lifestyle changes.  All I ask for is patience and persistence :)

03

What is the difference between nutritional therapy and the services of dietitians and other nutritionists?

Nutritional therapy addresses all aspects of an individual: their food choices, lifestyle, exercise, rest, stress, health history, etc.  In nutritional therapy, the bio-individual needs of each client is unique, and therefore everyone has a different protocol and nutritional recommendation.  This plan becomes preventative medicine by using the body's innate intelligence to restore health and natural body functions.

Nutritionists and Dietitians are trained to focus on the management of diseases and symptoms.  Nutrient allowances are based on standard government recommendations designed to treat the masses.

04

Will nutritional therapy help me lose weight?

Weight loss may be a side benefit of eating healthier.  By improving overall health through learning to eat a properly prepared, nutrient-dense diet, a healthier body will naturally reduce cravings for unhealthy foods that typically cause or contribute to weight gain. If weight loss is a primary and appropriate goal for you, then we will certainly work together to develop a healthy, sustainable weight loss plan.
